I am starting my Art shop and here are the exact steps I followed from the beginning till the launch date.

No time wasting here because Time is the key to success and I don't waste a bit of it.

Let's move ahead!

Just make sure you have a notebook somewhere to take notes ✔

This is going to be very helpful for those who:

-Are looking forward to starting an art shop

-Want to start any other E-commerce business

-Have no guidance on how to start!

If that sounds like you then...

Make sure to read till the end to understand every step to the fullest!

Step 1: What to sell?

I decided to sell paintings because I was pretty good at them as I have been painting for almost 3 years now! You know what I always say?

"Sell something that you would never get bored of" especially for hobby-related businesses

Why? Because if you are doing something which you are not really passionate about then you will get bored of it easily when you don't see results quickly. I chose painting because I would never get bored of it and it is something that I get lost in.

They say "Turning your passion into a source of income kills your passion"

Is it really true?

No. At least not for me :) I am doing it because I love it and I have always been into business and stuff so I wanted to hop on this new venture.

After all, life is all about trying new things!

So I guess this was all about Step 1

Let's move on to Step 2. Shall we?

Step 2: Create that product

As simple as that!

As soon as I decided what I wanted to sell, I ran to Pinterest to find painting inspirations. When I was happy with the painting Ideas, it was time to create the paintings. But the question is

"WHERE ARE WE GOING TO MAKE THE PAINTINGS?"

On the Canvas!

Here are some of the art supplies that I needed:

-Canvas

-Paints

-Paint brushes

-Palette knife

Here is what I purchased:

-4 mini canvases

-5 Medium-sized canvases

-2 Large canvases

-2 Acrylic paint tubes (blue and green) I'll tell you in a second why only two?

-A palette knife

-A varnish bottle

-I already had poster paints set so didn't buy one

Yep! That was enough.

All of this came under PKR 2000

The reason why I purchased only 2 Acrylic paints is because acrylic paints are expensive!

So I only purchased the main colors or you can say the colors I mostly use in my paintings.

Step 3: Launching phase

Yayyy! We created the product. Now What?

It's the launching phase!

This is the phase where more people get stuck because they don't have complete knowledge about the marketing of their product.

Marketing is not that you go to your social i.e Instagram or Facebook and post your product pictures and expecting someone to purchase from you.

I mean it looks so shady when someone tries to sell something to you like this.

So, What did I do?

I created some kind of hype about my business launch or you can say Kind of making people aware that something is coming soon.

Here is the Instagram post I did to create a kind of hype about my painting launch
